From Liberia: Missionary Guanue Gbendah

I just received the following letter from our missionary to Liberia, Guanue Gbendah

Hello Pastor
The Ebola virus is fast –spreading with no proper containment control measures being put in place by the relevant authority. Hundred deaths have occurred in our area over the last one week, with seven critically ill and some of the bodies remain uncollected for more than two days now. We walk up each day never knowing who is going to be the next victim.
All schools have been order closed, including business center. Curfew has been imposed to control the movement of people. All airlines flying in and out of Liberia has been cancer. Currently, there is no-where consider safe here, the virus has spread in towns, communities, and villages. We would appreciate your prayer and help in these critical times. All the few health centers we have here are closed due to the deaths of the few doctors and health workers that are on the front line fighting this deadly virus.
As a church we want to use this opportunity to reach out to our church members, and the community with food, medical supplies, chlorine, hand sanitizers, gloves, and masks as well as with Ebola buckets. This bucket is used to hold water for hand washing.
All gifts or donations should be directed to our mission office. www.wwntbm.com or call phone number 704 730 1440.
We will make all this as a matter of prayers.
In His Service
Bro Gbendah
