Heber City, UT - Independent Baptist Church
God is moving in this meeting. On Sunday, I approached a young man after the service and found him crying. He said, “I need you to help me find God.” We went to a private room as he brushed tears away from his face. I asked him, “What do you need to be saved from?” I knew that he had fathered a child out of wedlock at age 17. I wanted to be sure that he wasn’t just looking for God to help him solve his problems. He said, “I need to be saved from my sin!” I asked a few questions and became convinced that the Spirit of God had done the convicting work necessary. He knelt down and began sobbing as he asked Christ to save him. After he prayed, he stayed in the same position of prayer with his eyes closed and said, “Thank you God, thank you.” Then he said to me, “They’re gone…my sins are gone!” What a glorious conversion. He went about the church after his salvation and hugged anything that was moving!
Last night, the Spirit of God brought a deep conviction about hidden bitterness and unforgiveness. One man broke into tears during the middle of the sermon and raised his hand confessing to his own bitterness. He buried his head into a handkerchief and wept.
Please keep praying as God continues to move in the meeting.
