Dear Friends,

The summer is over and I want to report that we had a great time this year. This week was for Christian teenagers and young people up to twenty-five years old. A few unsaved young people wandered in and about thirty of them were saved. Many of the youth this week made decisions to follow Christ, and we were thrilled with the good spirit in the camp. In all we had nearly 2,700 in attendance this year with over 1,200 professions of faith in Christ.

I have been talking to the teens this summer about the Bible Institute we plan to open fall of ‘09. The response has just been overwhelming. Over 300 young people have asked for applications and information. We are a long way from finishing the properties. Please pray we will find the necessary funds to finish the buildings and heating systems. I will need additional support to help fund the school. Here is a great open door to train the youth of Moldova in church planting and missions. We are excited about the opportunity in front of us.

The new building is finished in Africa. I want to thank those of you who have given to this project. We have a new, exciting opportunity to reach thousands with the Gospel in Malawi, Africa. There is an opportunity to take the ministry we started in the camps to the bush villages. We will need a truck, tent, and various equipment for running a camp and evangelization. The cost of this project is about $50,000; I have forty percent of this to date. If anyone would like more details or would like to help us reach Malawi for Christ, your contribution would be welcomed. The opportunities in Africa are limitless; please pray for God to supply.

Thank you for your prayers and gifts these past few months. We still need funds to pay some of the bills for this summer’s camp, but the support of so many of you has made a difference.

Pray for Moldova,

Dr. Eric Chapman
