VBC Opening Doors for Worship

Dear Member or Friend of Victory Baptist Church,

Right now, we are looking at Sunday, May 31 for opening our doors for services. This will be at 10:45 AM. We will be live streaming the service as well if you do not feel comfortable in attending the service at that time. Also, for May 31 and the month of June we will only be having the morning service.

As we look forward to opening our doors to services, we need to be familiar with the guidelines below.

Recommended Precautions for Our Ministry

1. All of us should work to maintain physical separation of approximately six feet unless from the same household. Avoid physical contact, including shaking hands. If legally required, we will wear masks while in the building, otherwise they are optional.

2. Announcements will be made, and signs posted requesting no physical contact and listing appropriate physical separation guidelines.

3. Anyone who has a fever should stay home.

4. During church services, anyone displaying cold-like symptoms, including but not limited to coughing, excessive sneezing, or cold chills, will be asked nicely to return home to ensure the health of others.

5. We need to wash our hands regularly. Hand sanitizer is available in the foyer.

6. We will increase regular cleaning of the facilities, ensuring that disinfectant is being used in critical areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.

7. We request that anyone who has traveled overseas recently remain home from services until symptom free for at least fourteen days.

8. We will continue to livestream services to individuals unable to attend

due to health concerns.

9. It is not required, but we encourage people not to attend services if they are fearful, elderly, immune compromised, or have a vulnerable pulmonary system.

Please continue to pray for one another and our country. Pray also that VBC will be a good testimony to the those around us and that the Lord will continue to provide the church with needed finances. I am looking forward to the upcoming day that we can meet together again as God’s people in God’s House.

In Christ,

Pastor Stevens
